Yulie Foka-Kavalieraki is post-doc researcher at National Technical University of Athens, has received her PhD in Philosophy of Social Science from University of Athens and scholarship from State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), together with having bachelor degrees in English and Italian Literature. Her postgraduate degree is in Cognitive Science and her research focuses in the decision-making process, rationality, behavioral economics and the interaction of biological and social sciences. For her PhD she received the Heraclitus II scholarship with honors and she completed her postgraduate thesis at the “A” Neurological Clinic of Aiginiteio University Hospital. She has taught for successive years “Theory of Rational Choice” at the Department of History and Philosophy of University of Athens, her essays have been published in foreign and Greek science magazines and she often speaks in various scientific conventions in Greece and abroad.
